Research and discovery
I get to know your business properly, including the problems you’re facing and the changes you’d like to make. Then I pick out the key issues we can tackle together.
Report and plan
I work with you to produce a detailed report on each issue, with a full plan of action. You can take it or leave it, with no obligation.
Project management and aftercare
We carry out the projects we’ve outlined together, involving you and your staff at every step. At the end you get the documentation and any training your staff need, and I can provide aftercare from there.

A fractional CTO gives a business senior technology leadership on a part-time basis. I work on your IT strategy and roadmap, look after budgets and suppliers, and report to your directors on where things stand. Any business can use one, from a one-person firm upwards.
What happens on the free discovery call?
It’s a conversation about your business, and the issues you’re facing or the changes you’d like to make. If it makes sense to go further, I’ll explain how the discovery stage and the written report would work. There’s no obligation to go ahead.
Can you work alongside our current IT provider?
Yes. Many businesses already have an IT company for day-to-day support. As your fractional CTO I deal with them for you, check their quotes and hold them to what was agreed. If a review turns up work to do, you can hand the plan straight to them.
What does an IT review involve?
It’s a close look at how your systems are set up and run. I can focus on Active Directory or your Microsoft 365 tenant, or look at your IT as a whole. Each review ends with a written report and a plan of action.
